Don Kelly Research Collection Fellowship Open for 2018-2019


COLLEGE STATION, TX (October 31, 2018)– The Texas A&M University Libraries and the College of Liberal Arts are proud to announce the Don Kelly Research Collection Fellowship applications are open. The fellowship, for the academic year 2018-2019 covers all aspects of GLBT Studies, from history through the visual arts. Applications are due November 30, 2018.

The fellowship involves works based on resources within the Don Kelly Research Collection of Gay Literature and Culture, housed in Cushing Memorial Library and Archives. Research topics may include, but are not limited to the following GLBT related areas: pulp fiction, literature, protest movements, film, culture, art, serials, Beat Poets, race and gender.

The fellowship stipend covers $750/week and can be applied to two weeks ($1,500) up to two months ($6,000), depending on the time needs of the fellowship recipient. Please note that the amount is taxable. Any expenses incurred beyond the amount of the fellowship are the responsibility of the Fellow.
