Exhibition Loan Guidelines

Loan of Collection Materials for Exhibition

Institutions and units interested in borrowing Cushing Library collection materials for exhibition purposes should contact us at cushingreference@library.tamu.edu. 

Loan periods will be finite and will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. Borrowing institutions and units are encouraged to discuss exhibition ideas early in the planning stages. The list of requested items should be finalized within the following timeframe:

• Requests for five or fewer items should be submitted for consideration six months before the exhibition’s planned opening date.
• Requests for more than five items need to be submitted for consideration one year before opening date.

Reasonable exceptions will be considered by the Director on a case-by-case basis.
