Visit Our Exhibitions!

Viewing exhibitions at Cushing Memorial Library are free of charge. We have three main exhibit areas:

First Floor:
The First Floor Gallery is immediately accessible through the lobby entrance. The spacious gallery area displays building architecture dedicated to members of the A&M community who helped fund Cushing’s renovation. New exhibits featuring items from the collections appear every three to four months. In addition, pieces of artwork from the Krueger Family Art Collection are on permanent display.
The Mayo-Thomas Room is adjacent to the First Floor Gallery. It shows several pieces of artwork permanently on display as well as temporary exhibits. This room also hosts many of the special lectures and events that take place inside Cushing Memorial Library.

Second Floor:
The Wendler Gallery on the second floor features large exhibits that change every one to two years. This large space also highlights the original architecture of Cushing Library with its view of the third floor veranda and skylight.
