CORS (Cushing Online Request System)

CORS – Cushing Online Request System

CORS is Cushing Memorial Library’s Online Request System. Users from around the world can use CORS to access Cushing’s unique holdings, either by requesting material to be pulled in preparation for a visit in person, or by requesting print and digital copies of material.

You can access CORS at the main CORS page here. [link: http://aeon.library.tamu.edu] Follow the directions on logging in if you are a TAMU user, or for creating an account if you are a worldwide user.

When requesting material through CORS, you should provide material references, including Collection Titles and Call Numbers, that you have obtained from LibCat, ARCHON, or TARO, with your request.

ARCHON -  Cushing’s Collections Database

ARCHON is a digital database of material in Cushing’s collections. It includes finding aids to records, manuscripts, and more. Please note that ARCHON is an ongoing effort and we are continually working to upgrade, improve, and add to this database. Because it is a work in progress, not all of our collections are currently in this database, but we are adding material online regularly. You can access ARCHON here. TARO – Texas Archival Resources Online

Cushing Memorial Library has in the past been involved with TARO along with other libraries in Texas. TARO is not currently being updated, but you can find many of our finding aids here. [link: http://www.lib.utexas.edu/taro/index.html]
